The Ladakh chapter follows the journey north of Delhi via Hardwar and Rishikesh on the banks of the holy River Ganges. From Manali you travel further north via some of the highest motorable passes in the world to Leh. With visits to Tikse, Shey, Hemis, Alchi, Phyang and Lamayuru Monasteries. Bhutan consists of two chapters. The first one takes you to Thimphu (Tashichoedzong, archery festival, market) Paro, Bhumthang and Jakar Valleys. The second chapter is a special feature of Canadian photographer Timothy Hellum which takes you to the Thimphu Tsechu (one of the most impressive Himalayan temple festivals) as well as offering a closer look on rural life.
